Full STEM Ahead! It’s a Calabotics Victory!

Calabar High School has been crowned victors at the First Tech Challenge Jamaica, held at the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium at Jamaica College. The Event was a two days affair, which ran from 28-29 February 2020 with NCB Foundation being the key sponsor.
The First Tech Challenge Jamaica is the biggest robotics championship for high schools to date and was attended by the dominant robotics high schools from across the country.
This victory follows recent revelation by Calabar High that 7 out 10 students are leaving the school having achieving 5 or more subjects (inclusive of Mathematics and/or English) and this data is accurate as at Feb 20, 2020.
The School’s motto, ‘The Utmost for Highest’ will continue to remain the highest flown flag at the school according to a key member of the school’s teaching staff.
The school’s administration continues to stress and would also like to use the occasion to reassure its stakeholders that academics and student achievement at Calabar High School remains the highest priority for the school.
