'Old boys' support critical to Wolmer's performance'

Wolmer's Boys' School principal Dr Walton Small last Wednesday evening called on the institution's old boys fraternity to lend greater support to the school's educational, sports and outreach programmes, insisting that this would be key to ensuring the institution maintains its position among the top all-male high schools in the island.

Speaking to the members at the Wolmer's Boys' School Association (WOBA) annual general meeting, Dr Small referenced the findings of local think tank Educate Jamaica which, in a 2017 report, ranks the school in the top 10 based on passes obtained in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams.
